What to Look for in a Supplement

As promised in my last post, Living, With a Capital “L”, here is my post on which supplements I decided to start taking after being diagnosed with celiac’s disease.

What to look for in supplement

First off, here is the three things I considered when looking for a supplement. I’m sure you have your own list and I would love to hear your feedback about it, but this was my top three.

  1. All Natural! This was the most important to me because my brother-in-law Chris was always talking about how so many supplements are not natural, even things like Natures Made.

  2. Ingredients You Can Look Up Easily. Chris also mentioned that most supplements have weird chemicals in them and if you do not look everything up, you will end up taking something that is not natural without even knowing it. I did a lot of research before deciding on which supplements to take and the thing that helped me the most was knowing exactly what was in them and how much.

  3. Recommendations From Friends. This might seem weird for a supplement, but if you have been down that isle recently, you will notice that there are a ton of brands, with fancy packaging that makes it almost impossible to decide what to purchase. Besides, my friends are Hella Fit, so why not ask?

So what did I choose? Plexus. They have a 60-day money back guarantee if you do not like the products, they are all natural, with ingredients I could actually understand and tons of my friends LOVE their supplements.

They have a full line of products but I am currently drinking their Plexus Slim  (helps burn fat, maintain healthy blood sugar, blood pressure and cholesterol), X Factor (turbocharged multivitamin and antioxidant supplement), Mega X (fish oil, that has omega 3, 6, 9, 5 and 7), ProBio (probiotic for gut health) and Bio Cleanse (keeps gastrointestinal tract and arteries clean). I also love that Plexus is compariable price wise to all the other brands of natural supplements I checked out… because price totally matters to me.

15-Reasons-to-Try-Plexus

The full list of their products is above, but I only want to talk about what I use right now. So how are they unique and how did I decide Plexus was for me?

How is Plexus Slim unique?

How is ProBio5 unique?

ProBio5’s freeze-dried bacteria remain dormant until reaching the gut where they are needed.

-It contains 3 digestive enzymes; Serrapeptase, Cellulase & Chitosanase.

-Chitosanase also acts as a fungal killer, directly targeting fungal or yeast overgrowth in the gut

How is Bio Cleanse unique?

– Oxygenates and energizes your body with cleansing waste and plaque in the IG tract, colon, arteries, and blood.

– It does so with a specially formulated Magnesium Oxide compound with oxygen enhancement, vitamin C with Bioflavonoids, and other natural ingredients.

How is MegaX unique?

-It is the only plant-based total omega product on the market today

-It contains Omegas 3, 6, 9, PLUS 5 & 7

-Omega 5 helps to kill bacteria in the epithelial layers of the skin

-Omega 7 helps your body get into and stay in its deepest sleep cycle longer.

Now that you know what I take, why not try it for 60 days risk free and see if their all natural blend can help you too? I love what I take and my gut specifically is starting to feel much better. Check out the products here.

If you want to talk more, I would love to chat via email, FB messenger, face-to-face or phone. I love the products and anything that can help me feel better after 2 years is worth it to me.

We can also talk about how to get you everything at wholesale prices, it saved me a ton doing it that way!
