Unlimited Cloud Storage for Photos
I know you need to free up your memory for taking even more selfies, so this is a great perk. And yes, I meant to say unlimited.
5GB Free Cloud Storage for Everything Else
If the music was not enough, you also get an additional 5GB of free storage that you can use for whatever else you want, i.e., videos, music, etc..
Free Kindle eBooks
Like a virtual public library, Prime gives you access to more than 500,000 eBooks. You can borrow one book per month and there’s never any late fees. FYI: This feature only works for Kindle owners, not Kindle app users.
Early Access to Deals
Ever miss out on one of Amazon’s amazing lightning deals? With Prime, you get a 30-minute head start over the common people, and that could make all the difference between scoring that cheap tv on Cyber Monday.
Prime-Only Prices and Coupons
In addition to getting a head start on lightning deals, a Prime membership also gives you access to deals to which you would not otherwise be privy. If you do not have a prime account you do not see the prime-only pricing like I do, but trust me when I say I have definitely seen an increase in the number of these Prime-only prices. Oh and if you use Prime Pantry, you can click coupons to save even more on certain items.
Especially when it comes to buying large quantities of household items, Prime Pantry is an big added bonus. For just $5.99, you can have 45 pounds of groceries delivered to your doorstep. I like to use the $5.99, no-rush shipping credit to counter balance. I love this because it will keep track of how full your box is for you. I use this to get all the cleaning products I love, the selection is AMAZING!!
Oh and you should try the dash button thing. They are $5.99 each, but then you get it like a credit back for that product, order it once and you are paid back.
Amazon Family/Amazon Mom
For those with infants or young children, Prime’s Amazon Family perk is suppose to be wonderful. Diapers and other items are 20% off when ordered with Subscribe & Save (which can be cancelled at any time), saving you money and a trip to store for the necessities.
Plus, for just $3, you can sign up for Amazon’s Free-Time Unlimited, which gives you access to thousands of kid-friendly content like: books, movies, TV shows, educational apps, and games.
FYI, you can also save 15% off eligible products from your personal baby registry, no need to wait until after the baby is born, add it to the registry and get the discount right then.
Oh, and something I did not know at was that you can share nearly all the perks with another member of your household. the hubby Cody has always just used my account, but after this post, he has his own with Prime.
Prime Exclusive Savings in Video Games
Members save 20% on new release physical video games during pre-order through two weeks after launch. Did you know that? We did not and I am super excited about it!!!
There are two other perks I have read about, but to be honest, if you do not live in very select zip codes, you are not going to get to enjoy them. The first is Prime Now, where you get FREE two-hour delivery on over 10,000 items, from groceries to electronics and more, plus you get free delivery from your favorite local stores. The second is Restaurant Delivery. Yes you heard me right, in some areas you can get FREE one-hour delivery from popular restaurants. But do not count on either of these perks in your area.

I’ve also found it handy to have a Kindle Fire with a Prime account because you can download Amazon Prime movies/television to the Fire and watch it offline. Nice to have some shows lined up for flights when you’re traveling.
And thanks for the summary, there are definitely perks I was not aware of!
