Can I be honest with you? I love using the Amazon app at brick and motor store to barcode and see if I’m really getting a good deal. Most of the time I am, but every once in a while I will find something exactly the same or close to it for much less.

That being said, Amazon Prime’s FREE 2 day shipping benefit makes it worth the $99 a year for the membership for my husband and I. However, the benefits do not stop there, as my friend Autumn pointed out to me the other day, there are actually a lot of benefits I am missing out on.

And that takes me to this post. Here are some of the perks you may have forgotten come with that Amazon Prime account you have.  Try Amazon Prime 30-Day Free Trial, oh and you should use it on Prime Day (July 12th 2016)

  • The Grand Tour (i.e. Top Gear 2.0)
  • All the BBC shows (specifically Orphan Black and Doctor Who… trust me )
  • Downton Abbey
  • HBO stuff like: Boardwalk Empire, Veep, Sex in the City, and True Blood
  • Mr. Robots
  • Humans
  • The Man in the High Castle
  • The American’s
  • 24
  • And ton’s of kid’s stuff

  1. I’ve also found it handy to have a Kindle Fire with a Prime account because you can download Amazon Prime movies/television to the Fire and watch it offline. Nice to have some shows lined up for flights when you’re traveling.
